Ways to apply eyeliner

I am only speaking from personal experience when I say, applying eyeliner can tend to be a grunting annoyance. There are times that I have planned to try the cat eye look..only to be majorly disappointed because I end up looking like I got into a fight with a cat. Then the eye liner is stuck on my face and I have to wash it off..which means I have to wash off all of the makeup that I've already done. So then I get frustrated and just apply my normal routine makeup. 

 This is a perfect example of what I go through every time I try the cat eye look!! I am 100% sure there are other ladies out there that experience this too!!

Step ONE:

You need to find an eyeliner that your comfortable with and one that works best on what kind of look you are trying to accomplish. There are a bunch of different brands and types to try! There is cream, pencil, or liquid eyeliner. You also should put into consideration the color of eyeliner you are choosing. The color pallet for eyeliners is limitless!! You can choose from black, dark brown, or wild crazy cool colors. :) 

If you are looking to accomplish a smooth, fine line look then a cream or liquid eyeliner is the way to go!

If you want that smudgy, blurred look then a pencil eyeliner would work best.

Step TWO:

What kind of look are you going to try?

There is all sorts of different ways to apply eyeliner. Are you going to try something bold and beautiful or just play it safe with the classic look?

Step THREE:

RULE OF THUMB!! You should always apply your makeup on first before you start applying your eyeliner. 

The Dot Method

Instead of just trying to draw a line..which in most cases will end up one side is thicker than the other side. Use the dot method! At the inner corner of eye place a small dot. At the middle of your eye place a large dot. And at the end of your eyelid place a medium dot. Then slowly and steadily connect the dots!! Once you have mastered this skill..applying eyeliner will seem like less of a hassle and become more of a fun routine!!

Cat Eyeliner

Step ONE:

Find your wing!! 

Hold a brush (or a slim object) against the side of your nose and angle it until it points to the very end of your eyebrow. That will be the line that you want your wing to follow!! The one reason the cat eyeliner look can be so discouraging is because the wings aren't identical and it is pretty easy to mess them up. You will need to make the length, how wide it is, and the type of angle you are doing all the same!

Remember: DO NOT pull your skin whenever you are drawing your wing!!!

Step TWO:

Make a small dot to show where the tip of your wing will be. Make sure that the dots on both sides LINE up!! This is very crucial!! If they don't line up..then once your done doing the cat eyeliner..I promise you it will NOT balance out and you will have to redo them. 

Step THREE:

Draw a line that connects the dot to the outer corner of your eye and then continue to draw a line that connects the dot to the middle of your upper lash line. (This ends up being the outline of your wing.)

At this point, if your like me, then you should get out your q-tips and clean up any unwanted messes!!

Step FOUR:

Draw a thin line along your upper lash line..you can use the dot method here if that is easier for you. On the upper lash line you can always keep it thin or make it thicker. 

Step FIVE:

Start thickening the line a little bit. You want to do this because you need to make your line wider toward the outer corner of your eye.

Step SIX:

Fill in your wing!! 

After you are done with your eyeliner..apply your mascara!!

You can use eyeliner to achieve many different effects!!

Try to have fun with it!!

Trying out different ways to apply makeup can be fun!! I wouldn't suggest trying out anything new when your in a quick rush to get out the door. I would try it whenever you have some time to get ready or even on a day you aren't going to be going out. Don't make applying makeup a task..make it a fun creative fun time for just YOU!!

I was so glad that I was able to review this product. The years of being young flew by me and within a blink of an eye...all of a sudden I am almost 30 years old. I have been noticing some not-so-pleasant changes as my years keeping adding up! The one main change that I am downright embarrassed about is my widow's peak hair loss. Growing up I never even had a widows peak!! So you can only imagine the surprise when I first noticed it!! I haven't worn my hair back slick tight in a few years now because of this issue. I have only been using this product for 2 weeks now and I have noticed a huge difference!! My hair is beginning to fill in the widow peak hole!! I will definitely be buying more of this product because I have found an embarrassment life saver! I am going to continue to use this product and I will post more pictures up in the future. So keep an eye out for them!! I would recommend this product, hands down, to anyone that is dealing with hair loss because this product actually works!! 
I will admit I did go through a coloring my hair all sorts of colors and bleaching it all the time frenzy in my mid 20's. Ever since then my hair has been very damaged. Tons upon tons of split ends, the texture feels like straw, frizz everywhere, and it just looks unhealthy to a T.Since I started using this product my hair is becoming to look healthier also!! It still gets frizzy, but I have naturally wavy hair. My frizz has dropped dramatically. I am beginning to get a small amount of shine back to it. My Review on Valentia's Glow Eye Cream

Wow, this product worked amazingly!! I am 100% satisfied with the results. I have tried all sorts of different Eye Creams to help diminish my dark circles and I have never seen results. The other Eye Creams would help with puffiness or help hydrate underneath my eyes, but my dark circles would always stay. Since I've never seen the results that I was looking for I had been pretty skeptical whenever it came to any type of Eye Creams. This product has changed my skepticism thoughts..they are now in the past. I am sooo glad that I received a chance to review Valentia's Glow Eye Cream because it has changed my life. I have only been using this product for a few weeks, so I can only imagine the positive possibilities that are awaiting me by continuing this Eye Cream regimen. Not only did it take away my horrible dark circles, but it has dramatically brighten my eyes up!! Even when I am tired I seem to manage to still look awake. My eyes feel refreshed, renewed, glowing!! My Review on these tasty treats!!

Wow, these beef sticks are awesome!! Every flavor tastes sooo delicious!! The flavors I tried were the Original Flavor, Hoppin' Jalapeno Flavor, and Crankin' Cran Flavor. My all time favorite flavor was the Original Flavor, but my husbands favorite flavor was Hoppin' Jalapeno. I felt like every single bite just kept tasting better and better!! I honestly felt upset when I was done because I wanted more!! Chomps Snack Sticks aren't greasy like other beef sticks I've eaten in the past. Did you notice how I said past? Yes?! Well, that's because these tasted soooo much better that I will definitely be purchasing these in the future vs any other brands. This product is awesome!! It came in the mail at exactly the right time. I am currently getting over the flu and have had all those nasty horrible effects for days now!! My 100% honest review on this product:

I absolutely loved this dead sea mud mask!! It smells amazing!! It is always a plus when you use a face mask and it smells good because lets face it they don't always smell the best. That was the first plus that I noticed. I applied it to my face (leave on face for 15-20 minutes) and I also massaged it into my scalp and put some into my hair (leave on scalp and hair 10-15 minutes). I have extremely thick hair so I wasn't able to do my whole head of hair.

 To wash it off of my face I wet my fingers and used circular motions to wipe it off. That wasn't exactly working so I used a wet wash cloth and it came off perfectly!! My face felt instantly renewed!! My face felt soft and my complexion even appeared brighter!! I suffer from dry spots on my face (it happens every year when it starts getting cold outside) and this dead sea mud mask helped get rid of all the dry spots!!! Which is totally awesome because I do face masks once a week and I've never found a face mask that actually took away all of the dead dry skin!! Now I have!! I would highly recommend this product to anyone that suffers from dry skin because it seriously helps!!! 

To wash the dead sea mud mask out of hair I jumped in the shower because it was easier that way and less of a mess. I massaged my head to get the product out and then continued with my regular shampoo and conditioner regimen. After my hair was dry I checked my scalp and saw that my dandruff was basically gone. Yes, I said dandruff..I know its such an embarrassing topic to discuss, but lets face it millions of people suffer from it. I only have it during the colder season and I hate it!! I hate the way it looks, I hate the way it makes my head itchy, I hate everything about it!! I've tried dandruff shampoo's and that didn't even help as much as this dead sea mud mask did..after one time of using it!  I am definitely going to use this product in my scalp at least once a week because it helped it so much!!

Here's how the process works:

Once I got my candle I started burning it right away!! If your anything like me, then I have a feeling that you won't waste anytime doing that because you'll want to find your jewelry treasure!

The minute you even open the candle your nostrils are filled with a heavenly scent!! The scent isn't too over bearing and it definitely isn't not there..it's right in the middle which in my opinion, is exactly the way a candle should smell!! Jackpot Candles definitely knows how to mix up a good scent!! I chose Salted Caramel because who wouldn't want their house filled with the aroma of a splendid salty sweetness scent?!? 

As I burnt my candle down I kept on glancing into the wax to see if my jewlery surprise was showing yet!! (It took a few hours for mine to show.) But once it did I was super excited to get it out of the wax!! 

Remember how I mentioned how excited I was?? If you notice, I didn't even take time to blow out the candle. I would not suggest anyone to do that!! Play it safe and blow it out! I didn't get hurt or anything, but it would just be smarter to blow it out. Anyway, I used a pair of tweezers to get the jewelry treasure surprise out. 

I placed the foiled surprise into the lid of the candle. I let it sit for a few minutes because it was still warm from the wax.

Once its cooled off..I proceeded to unwrap the foil. At this point, I was grinning from ear to ear from total excitement!!! 

The jewelry will be in a small air tight baggie. Attached to the jewelry will be a small tag..on the tag it has a code on it. That is the appraisal code. Don't lose that code until you use it!!!

Here's a picture of my beautiful ring!!! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! It was well worth the wait and I couldn't have been any more surprised during this whole process!

N MO POST!! DIY Face Mask!!

I know I am not the only person walking this earth that LOVES face masks..and gets joy out of making my own! Here's a DIY Face Mask!
Cinnamon, Honey, & Baking Soda Face Mask Blast!! This face mask is awesome!! Some people say they feel a strong tingle when the face mask is on, but I only felt a minor tingle. I love those kind of face masks because I know its working up something awesome for my face. :) WARNING: DO NOT PUT TOO CLOSE TO YOUR EYES!!!!
Ingredients needed:
*1/2 tsp Cinnamon
*1 tbsp Honey
*1/4 tsp Baking Soda
-Leave it on your face for 10-15 min.
Normally when doing a DIY face mask its better to use organic ingredients, but I normally get too excited to do one so I use what I already have in my kitchen cabinets. Below I snapped a few photos for you!!

This face mask made my skin feel wonderful after I did it!! Are you wondering why?? I'll let you know.
Honey is an awesome moisturizer for your skin and it also absorbs impurities from your skin!! Baking Soda is a natural scrub that helps get rid of dead skin cells..out with the old and in with the new! Cinnamon helps increase circulation, it de-clogs pores (who wouldn't want that in a face mask?!), and it also works as an anti-inflammatory. So why not give this splendid DIY Face Mask a try?!? I am one of those people that love brushing their teeth,using mouthwash, and flossing so I was overly excited to try out this mouthwash. I can tell you I was not in any way let down from this product. There was instant results after using this mouthwash..just once!! I bought this from a CVS and when I initially bought it..I was kind of thinking it wouldn't work, but thought ah what the hell might as well live a little!! I am 100% glad that I lived on the wild side that day because this instant pore eraser works amazingly!! I used a little bit of it on any spots where I felt my pores needed it and I noticed a difference instantly!! After I applied it I did my normal makeup routine and it didn't change the effect of my makeup at all. I gave my face a quick check hours later and it was still working!! They had a very soft and clean smell to them, my face didnt dry out (most face washes over dry my skin), it made my face feel soooo soft and after using my face felt like a million bucks!! The Nivea in shower body lotion was a free sample offer. I did like this product but it felt weird washing my body and then applying my lotion on in the shower. It did keep me moisturized all day long and would be wonderful to use during the winter!! My skin gets very dry during the winter and who wouldn't want to apply their lotion on in a nice warm shower vs getting out of shower..feeling cold..and having to apply normally cold lotion?! 

The BareMinerals Pure Brightening Serum. I emailed BareMinerals because I have been a huge fan of their products for years!! They sent me a free sample to try! :) I have only ever tried their mineral makeup line so this was new to me. The result total awesomeness!! The foundation went on smoothly and felt weightless on my face. I would highly recommend this product to anyone!! Double thumbs up #BareMinerals

Hermes perfume samples..

I emailed Hermes and asked them for a perfume sample..to my amazement they sent me 3 samples!!! They are all mini spray bottles so it's just enough to see where you stand with the scents. I honestly have only tried one of them so far..ill try a different one today :) These perfumes would be a must have for someone that is a perfume fanatic and also has the money to spend on them! Personally I do not at this time!

Listerine Ultra Clean Mint Floss review!!

Crowdtap sent me this product for free to review!! Listerine Ultra Clean Mint Floss is an awesome floss. I loved how it tastes and how it leaves my mouth feeling fresh. I used it after eating lunch and it literally felt like I just brushed my teeth or had eaten a mint. The only downside for me was how stretchy it felt..I felt like I was using a rubber band to floss with. With that being said, I am used to using floss that is stiff so that is honestly just me not being used to the flexible floss. I will continue using it because there's much more positives than negatives and I can get used to ONE small negative!! This is a super good product for anyone that flosses daily!! 

Number 4 High Performance Haircare

I emailed Number 4 Haircare for free samples and they sent me a good bit of samples!! Shampoo,conditioner,masque,firming gel,  and body lotion!! I haven't tried any of it yet but once I do I'll leave my review!! 

I received coupons!

I emailed Clorox because I am in LOVE with Clorox disinfectant wipes!! I just expressed to them how much I use them and well they work. They sent me an email back stating that they would send me coupons in the mail. I received 2 $1 off coupons!!! #wootwoot #gooddeal

I also wrote an email to Burts Bees because I love their products. They sent me an email back stating that they were going to send me a coupon. The coupon that they sent me is beyond amazing! 

Up to $10.00 off any Burts Bees products!!! That is simply awesome!! I will be able to purchase a full size product!!
