Vitamin C Serum

Vitamin C 21% Serum

I am constantly on the look out for great skincare products. I have always been a skincare fanatic and I don't think that will ever change. Face serums have been a very popular choice for a while now. I have tried Vitamin C Serums in the past and I liked some and didn't like others. (I do have pretty sensitive skin.) Here is my complete review on Serum Ceuticals Vitamin C 21% L-Ascorbic Acid Serum.

What can Vitamin C Serum do for you?

Enhance collagen synthesis

Lighten skin tone

Remove Fine Lines

Reduce & Remove Age Spots

Reduces Deep Wrinkles

Applying Vitamin C to your skin can be 20 times more effective than taking it orally (when taking Vitamin C for skin).

They keep their Vitamin C Serum super fresh by using Glutathione Acid and Ferulic Acid and charge it with Argon and Nitrogen gases to protect the Vitamin C from oxidation. Because of this their serum stays fresh and at full potency.

My Review

If I could rate this product from a 5 star rating I would personally rate it a 3 star rating. I was very excited to try this product on my face. I have used Vitamin C Serums in the past and worst case scenario the serum made my face look a little greasy. So I was hoping I would have a much better outcome with this product. I was sadly mistaken.

I do have pretty sensitive skin on my face. But I was pretty shocked when I had a bad reaction to this product. I applied this product to my face and neck. Roughly 2 hours later my face and neck was itchy, bright red, and small skin toned bumps appeared. This lasted all night long.

I decided to try this product out again, but use less this time. Once again I had the same exact results as the first time I used it. I was really hoping that this product wasn't the reason that my face turned into a tomato and was extremely itchy and bumpy.

I decided not to give up on this product just yet.

I began to add 2-3 drops of this product to my lotion and applied to my legs. I didn't have any bad reactions when I used it on my legs. (I was still bummed out that I couldn't use this on my face.) My legs began to feel a lot smoother and the appearance of them just seemed a bit more healthier looking.

My personal review is that it did help my legs out a little bit..but not enough for the person standing next to me to notice. I will not be purchasing in the future.

I did receive this product for free to test out and give my own honest unbiased review on and that is exactly what I did.
